Representative Riddle is proud to be named “Champion for Free Enterprise” by the Texas Association of Business.

The Texas Association of Business represents companies from the largest multi-national corporations to small businesses in nearly every community of our state, TAB works to improve the Texas business climate and to help make our state’s economy the strongest in the world.

In a letter dated October 14, 2009, Bill Hammond, President of the Texas Association of Business writes:

Dear Debbie,

Congratulations on being named a Texas Association of Business (TAB) “Champion for Free Enterprise” as a result of your pro-business voting record during the 81 sl Legislative Session. This accolade is TAB’s most prestigious legislative award. You scored 90% or better on the key issues important to Texas companies and employers to receive this award.

On behalf of TAB and its members, we applaud you for your hard work in promoting a better business climate; a climate TAB believes will ensure that more, good-paying jobs come and stay in Texas.

We will be honoring TAB’s “Champion for Free Enterprise” honorees at our legislative reception, which is being held in conjunction with the Association’s Annual Conference in January.

Again, on behalf of Texas businesses, thank you for all your hard work.

Sincerly,
Bill Hammond
President
