Rep. Riddle I would just like to take a moment to thank you for standing up and protecting our state’s sovereignty. Finally we are putting our foot down and saying enough is enough. There is a difference between opening your doors to help someone and totally giving your house away! There are limits to what we can do. My fear is that we will wake up one day 20 yrs from now and be annexed to Mexico! Our children will say, what happened? And history will have to tell them, well people didn’t want to be impolite or rude. So, our state was completely taken over! Extreme example I realize, but Im not gonna just lay down and let my state be over run by refugees. I agree conditions there are unacceptable and something must be done. But, hispanic groups. Why don’t you direct your energy towards your the mexican and south american people and governments? Don’t expect Americans to passively allow our resources and culture to be invaded. And to top it off now we’re having to deal with a rise in crime. How much do you really expect us to take!!?
Hello Rep.Riddle-
As the person before me stated-Thank you for having the courage to step forward and try to fix a problem, that none of the citizens of the country were responsible for, but have now had to take the responsiblity of support in some manner of the many illegals inside US Borders.
Debbie,
Thanks for addressing the illigal imigration issue and all the money it is costing all of us. Everyone seems to talk about fixing the problem but nobody is taking action and doing something about it. If I was the govenor of this state I would have the National Gaurd all over the border arresting these criminals and drug cartels smuggle dope into our country. I am fed up with the federal government doing nothing about the problem and the left wingers whining about illegal rights, they don’t have any. Please get something passed to address this problem.
Thank you so very much for your efforts to secure the border and protect the citizens of this country fron the very real invasion occurring today! I implore you to continue your efforts and to band together those legislative allies you have to ensure passage of every bit of legislation possible. Let’ make Texas the “point man” and lead the country toward sane border security and immigration enforcement before it is too late.
God bless and keep you, Rep. Riddle and keep up the good work!
John Gardner
Thank you so much for your courage to speak up about the need to secure Texas border. please urge your colleagues to support comprehensive immigration laws for Texas. In addition, with Texas having a 17 billion dollar to a a 27 billion shortfall to ask taxpayers to foot the bill for illegals is wrong. Medicaid services, the Lone Star card and other services should not be available to people who have come into this country illegally.
Hey Stephanie….’annexed to Mexico.’ Really? Maybe if you stop watching fox ‘news’ now you can save yourself from all out stupidity!
Glad to see yall are concerned with the real issues facing our country!
